Level 80

Well, I finally got to level 80 a couple of weeks ago, but I was too lazy or occupied to post about it. The truth is that I am helping some guildies level their toons so we can raid. We have been practicing on Karazhan, for which we ought to be ridiculously overpowered, but some of my guild mates don't understand the game so well. I can only imagine how they will fair in the Northrend raids and dungeons!
I am spending time finishing up the quest chains from my leveling guide, and where possible I am also doing the daily quests for rep. There are some really nice upgrades available that will help with the raiding later on.
Lastly, I am starting another blog, this time on my own domain, at http://www.thewarcrafthunter.com/. I will keep this one going more more for personal blogging and chats and stuff, but the new one will be dedicated to giving pointers and improving play as a Hunter, as well as some technical stuff regarding add ons, interface, macros, etc. I find that as a guild member, especially a high level one, I get a lot of requests for "how do I do this." I can then use my blog as a means to document whatever I just taught them, and the next time someone asks me I can guide them there.

Borean Tundra

I have been questing in the Borean Tundra, and fun as it is, I can't help but notice that there is very little in the way of good gear for Hunters out here. I am not sure if it is the area or the game in general, but the quest reward gear as well as drops from mobs do not seem to include any mail items with good Agility bonus. I find that my gear has slowly been replaced with leather items just so I can keep up with my DPS.

That's fine as long as I stay out of any PvP stuff, but I won't be able to survive any bad accidental aggro situations should they occur. I am told that it gets better at level 80, but in the meantime I am sticking to PvE...not even raids for now.

Anyway, I am level 72 now, and I might head to Howling Fjords to run through there for some fast XP.
